October 17, 10:00am-1:00pm — Have you ever been lucky enough to see a Hawaiian monk seal? Well, here’s your chance to participate in a statewide research project to help protect these critically endangered creatures. Volunteers on every island will be checking their coastlines during the Sixth Semi-Annual Hawaiian Islands Monk Seal Count this Saturday. C’mon out and find some seals!
