Community Workday with Ka Honua Momona

This Saturday, September 19, is the next Community Workday with Ka Honua Momona. And there’ll be special guests! Marion Ano, Uncle Wally Ito, and Uncle Henry Chang Wo …

Last week, they hosted Molokaʻi High’s immersion school, O Hina i Ka Malama. The students helped take water quality samples, collected different types of limu (seaweed), moved silt around in the pond, pulled some of the smaller mangrove, and explored the pond and mauka (toward the mountain) of the pond.

Come out and join them at the fishpond this Saturday! For more information, email or call 808.553.8353.
